Emulsifier is a common operating unit in the daily chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, used to transform two immiscible liquids (one of which is almost always water and the other is an immiscible “oil”) into a uniformly distributed liquid-liquid dispersion system (float). According to the stability theory of emulsions, in order to maintain a relatively stable dispersed system for a long time, the droplets should be as small as possible, usually less than 10um. The emulsifiers produced by Yikai are designed based on this principle, using a high-speed rotating high shear fixed rotor system and corresponding scraping and stirring system to provide mechanical energy to mix one phase into another. Through the deformation and rupture of coarse droplets, the diameter of the coarse droplets continuously decreases, ultimately completing a uniform emulsification process.
The ZJR series high shear vacuum homogenizer emulsifier consists of an emulsifying pot (with a lifting lid and a flipping pot body), a water phase pot, an oil phase pot, a vacuum device, a heating and temperature control system, a cooling system, an electrical control system, etc.
The materials are initially mixed and dispersed in the pre-treatment tank through heating and stirring, and then sucked into the emulsification tank by the negative pressure formed by the vacuum pump. Through the combined action of scraper agitator and high shear homogenizer in the emulsification tank, the materials are quickly broken into 200nm~2um micro liquid drops through the complex comprehensive process of mixing, shearing, impact, compression, etc., thus forming a stable lotion state. During this process, the scraper plate made of polytetrafluoroethylene can always adhere to the surface of the tank, quickly sweeping the wall surface, continuously forming new wall surfaces between the material and the tank wall, improving heat exchange efficiency while ensuring the uniformity of high viscosity materials inside the tank. At the same time, the high vacuum system configured in the equipment can quickly extract the air generated during the preparation process, avoiding oxidation or pollution caused by the presence of bubbles in the finished material, and the material after defoaming is more shiny and ductile.
For over a decade, we have continuously improved and optimized the equipment structure, as well as made multiple technological breakthroughs. Yikai’s high shear vacuum homogenizer emulsifier equipment has a maximum tangential velocity of 24.5m/s, combined with a patented homogenizer structure, increasing the tangential pressure to 39MPa
The ultra-high tangential pressure is an important guarantee for the emulsification effect. The ZJR series emulsifier uses this cutting-edge homogeneous structure from Yikai, as well as a unique butterfly circulation flow field, which can effectively control the particle size of materials within 0.2-200um and distribute them evenly.
